Cookie notice
This page belongs together with the privacy notice and explains what is stored in your browser (cookies and similar techniques such as localStorage) and why.
Short version
This website does not set any cookies of its own. agentsweaver.ai is a static site with no login, no forms of its own (apart from the beta sign-up, see below), and no analytics or advertising trackers.
The only browser storage related to this site comes from the chat widget — and only if you open it yourself and explicitly consent to it. That is why there is currently no cookie banner on the site (the full reasoning is explained below).
What is stored, and by whom?
| Name (indicative)* | Type | Purpose | Retention | Set by |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Visitor/session token (e.g. ew_visitor_id) | localStorage | Would recognise your conversation across visits. Contains no name or email address, only a random technical code. | Currently not stored at all — visitor recognition is switched off for this chatbot. If it is ever enabled, it will be opt-in and deleted 30 days after your last visit (see privacy notice §7) | ZelixAI widget (widget.agentsweaver.ai/widget.js), only after you give consent in the widget itself |
Consent status (e.g. ew_consent) | localStorage | Remembers that you already gave consent for the chat widget, so the question does not reappear on every visit. | Until you clear your browser data yourself | ZelixAI widget, once you consent |
| Active conversation (session) | sessionStorage | Keeps track of the conversation while the tab stays open. | Disappears automatically when you close the tab | ZelixAI widget, during an active conversation |
* The exact technical names are determined by the supplier (ZelixAI platform) and may differ from these indicative names; this does not affect the purpose or nature of the storage described above.
There are no advertising cookies, no third-party tracking cookies (such as Google Analytics or the Facebook Pixel), and nothing is stored before you open the chat.
Note on fonts: the fonts used on this site (Inter, JetBrains Mono) are hosted on our own server, not loaded from Google Fonts or any other third party, so viewing a page never sends a request to a third party for this purpose (self-hosted since 6 July 2026; see the privacy notice §3.1).
Why is there no cookie banner?
Two reasons together mean we do not (for now) show a separate cookie banner:
- The site itself sets nothing. There is no reason for a banner on pages where nothing is stored.
- The one storage that does exist (the chat widget) already asks specifically for consent before anything is saved or sent — and that is exactly the consent that the ePrivacy rules (Dutch Telecommunications Act art. 11.7a) require for this storage. This consent covers only the storage on your device; the GDPR legal basis for processing the content of your message is a separate layer (performance of your request, see privacy notice §3.2) and does not depend on this consent. This also only happens if you actively open the chat yourself — a service you request yourself, with its own, specific consent prompt that goes further than a generic banner.
A separate cookie banner would therefore be redundant: you would be asked for consent twice for the same storage (ePrivacy Directive as implemented in the Dutch Telecommunications Act, art. 11.7a).
Note: if future functionality adds analytics, marketing, or tracking cookies, this conclusion must be reassessed and a cookie banner will need to be added.
Your choices
- Not using the chat widget: then nothing is stored. You can browse the entire site without opening the chat.
- Declining consent in the widget: then the widget stores nothing.
- Clearing your browser data: through your browser settings you can always delete stored data (including localStorage/sessionStorage) yourself.
- Having your data deleted at the supplier: this can be requested through the chat itself (see the privacy notice, section 8).
